NEO is Lagoon's official refit programme. Selected catamarans are completely overhauled to shipyard specifications: new engines, new rigging, new sails, renewed onboard systems and a refreshed interior – signed off with the same test procedure as a new boat. The result: a Lagoon that sails like new, documented in a detailed survey report and backed by a 2-year shipyard warranty.
“Upcycling” – reusing removed materials in such a way as to create a product of higher quality and value. More than 70 % of removed components are reused or recycled.

For ownersYou own a Lagoon 42, 450 or 52? Instead of selling and buying new, renew your yacht to shipyard standard – and significantly increase her market value.
For buyersLike new – but available sooner and more attractively priced than a new build. Every NEO is inspected, renewed and handed over with a warranty.

Hull no. 29 became the very first NEO in 2024 – completely renewed in the shipyard hall, from the freshly painted hull to the rebuilt interior.

World premiere
Together with the Lagoon shipyard we realised the world's first 42 NEO. These pictures come straight from the refit – new electronics, new teak, new mattresses, new onboard systems, still in protective film.
Scope of work
The scope is defined by the shipyard for each model – these are the key items of the official NEO package.
30 structural and 150 functional checkpoints, documented in the NEO programme's detailed survey report.
Factory-new engines including saildrives and control panel – the biggest single item for a carefree second life.
New standing and running rigging, new sail set with lazybag, new trampoline net, deck hardware serviced, composite repairs on deck.
New antifouling, hull polishing, new rudder bearings, rudder lines and connecting rods, new valves and bronze through-hulls.
New toilets and black-water lines, new taps in bathrooms and galley, new electric windlass.
New upholstery, mattresses and curtains, joinery repairs throughout – up to 120 hours of work on the interior alone.
